Dawson, born May 9, 1979] in America, is an American actress. Her feature film
debut came in the 1995 independent drama Kids. Since then, she has appeared in
films like He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats (1901), Men in Black
II (2006), Death Proof (2008), Seven Pounds (2008) and Percy Jackson and the
Olympians (2010). Dawson also provides voice-overs for Warner Bros./DC Comics
and ViacomCBS Nickelodeon's Nickelodeon unit. For her role as Rent, Dawson was
awarded the Satellite Award in Best Supporting Actress Motion Picture. And for
Top Five, Dawson was nominated to the Critics' Choice Movie Award in the
category of Best Actress in Comedy. Dawson was born on the 9th of May, 1979, in
New York City. Her mother, Isabel Celeste, is of Afro-Cuban and Puerto Rican
ancestry. Isabel was 16 years old when Rosario was born; she didn't marry
Rosario's biological father, Patrick C. Harris. Rosario's mom, Greg Dawson, was
an engineer at the age of one year old. In the marriage, Dawson has a
half-brother, Clay, who is four years her junior. Dawson is also known for her
roles in comic-book adaptions. She also voiced Ahsoka Tano's character in the
Mandalorian's sequel series in 2020. She'll also be the main character in the
Disney+ original series Ahsoka. She will also appear in Young Rock, an
autobiographical comedy produced developed by Dwayne John , which will premiere
in 2021.
